Overview

The Level 4 Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) program is an in-depth, providing participants with practical skills to monitor and improve the performance of engineering systems through OEE. Designed for engineers, technicians, and production managers, the course covers:

  • Key Parameter Identification: Learn to identify essential parameters for tracking and calculating OEE.

  • OEE Calculation Methods: Understand how to calculate Availability, Performance, and Quality—the core components of OEE—and recognize the six big losses affecting each.

  • Real-Time Monitoring Process Flow: Develop a process flow for monitoring Availability, Performance, and Quality in real-time using a flow-based development tool.

  • OEE Calculation and Display Integration: Create a real-time OEE calculation process and integrate it on a PLC-controlled system to validate OEE formulations and display results for continuous monitoring.

Who Should Attend

Engineers, Technicians, Technical Managers, Production Managers, Academia with relevant background.

Pre-requisite

Successful Completion of SHRDC Data Generation Program.

Duration

5 Days

Training Methodology

Participants are exposed to theoretical fundamentals and demonstrations of information technology related to smart factory competencies and processes, followed by hands-on activities to support application of competencies acquired.
