Thanks to their expertise, we now have accurate data and a tailored formula to calculate OEE, driving our process improvements.

Transformation towards Smart Factory is a continuous learning and improvement process. I’m glad that I joined SHRDC trainings during the early development stage of Industry 4.0 Project in my company. I believe Data Generation and Machine Data Logging and Visualization classes helped to shorten our development time by 50%. The trainings were effective and the proposed methodology in training is applicable to industry, despite some minor customizations were done to cater our production flow and management preferences.

Great exposure and awareness to the members involved. With the implementation of OEE, the time spent to record the data reduced significantly, and my team spend more valuable time improving the process. Downtime has been reduced, and our productivity are much more consistent and predictable.

The journey is long and hard. We always learn new things down the road as well as facing new obstacles. Thus come the importance of good mentors and training. Understanding the pain points of the shopfloor is quite challenging for us since we are not from the manufacturing background and yet need to relate to the difficulties across all the departments such as production, production planning control, quality, maintenance and others.
